  1. information on the collection and use of personal data

When you access our website, you transmit data to our web server via your internet browser as a technical necessity. The following data is recorded:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • Page from which the file was requested
  • Access status
  • Transmitted data volume
  • Web browser and operating system used
  • IP address of the requesting computer

This data is only stored for a short period of time, separately from any personal data you may have provided. A passing on of these data to third parties, also in extracts, does not take place.

If you contact us with questions of any kind or via contact form, you give us your voluntary consent to the collection of personal data for the purpose of contacting you. For this purpose, at least the specification of a valid e-mail address is required, the specification of further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored exclusively for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions. Without your consent, this data will not be used for other purposes or passed on to third parties. They will be deleted after the storage is no longer necessary or the processing will be restricted if legal retention periods exist.

As a user, you will receive information on request about what personal data has been stored about you. You have the right to have this data corrected, blocked or deleted, insofar as this does not conflict with any legal provisions.

  1. information on the newsletter and press release dispatch

When registering for our newsletter, you must provide us with your name and e-mail address. We use these exclusively to send you the newsletter. The newsletter contains information about our company and our products. Your e-mail address will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link provided in the newsletter or by sending us a message to this effect. By unsubscribing, you object to the use of your e-mail address. Your e-mail address will then no longer be used for sending the newsletter.

We use the service of SendinBlue. GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin. SendinBlue is a service with which the newsletter dispatch can be organised and analysed. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving newsletters (e.g. e-mail address) is stored on SendinBlue's servers.
Our newsletters sent with SendinBlue enable us to analyse the behaviour of the newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can analyse how many recipients have opened the newsletter message and how often which link in the newsletter was clicked. All links in the email are so-called tracking links, with which your clicks can be counted.
If you do not want SendinBlue to analyse your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. Furthermore, you can also revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by sending an email to the address stored in this declaration (see above).
The data you provide us with for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of SendinBlue after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
For more details, please refer to the privacy policy of SendinBlue at: de.sendinblue.com/legal/privacypolicy/.
We have concluded a corresponding contract with SendinBlue in which we oblige SendinBlue to protect our customers' data and not to pass it on to third parties.

  1. web analysis service Matomo

Our website uses Matomo, an open source software for statistical analysis of visitor access. Matomo uses cookies that are stored on your computer and allow an anonymous analysis of your use of the website. It is not possible to draw conclusions about a specific person, as your IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before storage.

Matomo is used for the purpose of improving the quality of our website and its content. In this way, we learn how the website is used and can thus constantly optimize our offer.

Users may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on their browser. However, we would like to point out to the user that in this case not all functions of this website can be used to their full extent.

  1. YouTube with enhanced data protection

This website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. Thus, regardless of whether you watch a video, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube may save various cookies on your end device or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience and prevent fraud attempts.
If necessary, further data processing processes may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no control.
YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
For more information about data protection at YouTube, please see their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

  1. LinkedIn

We use the technical platform and services of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, for our channel offered on LinkedIn.
We would like to point out that you use this LinkedIn page and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). Therefore, in your own interest, please check carefully what information you wish to disclose and share with other users.
When you visit our LinkedIn page, LinkedIn collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is present on your end device in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the LinkedIn pages, with statistical information about the use of the LinkedIn page. LinkedIn provides more detailed information on this at the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
The data collected about you in this context is processed by LinkedIn Inc. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. LinkedIn describes in general terms what information it receives and how it is used in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact LinkedIn and on the settings options for advertisements.
In what way LinkedIn uses the data from visits to LinkedIn pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the LinkedIn page are assigned to individual users, how long LinkedIn stores this data and whether data from a visit to the LinkedIn page is passed on to third parties, is not conclusively and clearly stated by LinkedIn and is not known to us.

When you access a LinkedIn page, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to LinkedIn. According to LinkedIn, this IP address is anonymised (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. LinkedIn also stores information about the end devices of its users (for example, as part of the "registration notification" function); LinkedIn may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users.
If you are currently logged in to LinkedIn as a user, a cookie with your LinkedIn identification is located on your end device. This enables LinkedIn to track that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other LinkedIn pages. LinkedIn buttons embedded in websites enable LinkedIn to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your LinkedIn profile. This data can be used to offer content or advertising tailored to you.
If you want to avoid this, you should log out of LinkedIn or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. This will delete LinkedIn information that can directly identify you. This allows you to use our LinkedIn page without revealing your LinkedIn identifier. When you access interactive features of the site (like, comment, share, news, etc.), a LinkedIn login screen will appear. Once you have logged in, you will again be identifiable to LinkedIn as a specific user.
Information on how to manage or delete information about you can be found on the following LinkedIn support pages: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
As the provider of the information service, we do not collect or process any other data from your use of our service.
We also use the lead generation tool from LinkedIn. A lead is a qualified prospective customer who, on the one hand, is interested in a company or a product and, on the other hand, provides the advertiser with his address and similar contact data (lead = data record) of his own accord for the purpose of establishing further dialogue and is therefore highly likely to become a customer. Generating high-quality leads is a fundamental task for acquiring new customers. Address data of potential interested parties can be generated online and offline for specific target groups and these purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
The use of these tools serves marketing purposes. These purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
